A Review Of Aldila RIP Shaft
Our first authoritative golf driver shaft review of 2010' will definitely be one of the most prominent driver shafts of the year. The aldila rip launched with an introduction in trial mode at the John Deere Classic in July of 2009 and confirmed to be a pivotal marketing factor for the shaft driver. The aldila rip shaft created a course-record low of 61. And then, Heath Slocum followed up in August using the Aldila RIP in his driver shaft to amaze the top golfers in the world getting a single-shot advantage at The Barclays. Steve Stricker, Geoff Ogilvy, Ross Fisher have all either played or experimented with the RIP shaft. And to top it off, the aldila rip golf shaft placed first and second at the recent SBS Championship.
The Aldila RIP is a scaled down torque shaft driver with a rigid cap providing the advanced golfer a constant shaft. Constructed for solidity, scaled down spin rate and an unmatchable flight, the RIP is ripe for the picking' come 2010.
"RIP(TM) is Aldila's innovative shaft science which provides a decreased spin, enhanced tip solidity and enhanced tip firmness control," said Stewart Bahl, Aldila's Marketing Manager. "The RIP(TM) is at present going through trial on the PGA Tournament and is proposed to be launched later this year and will be manufactured in 2010 through some of the biggest original equipment manufacturer's product lines."
